Nandakishore Ambati, the youngest son of Ambati Saibaba Gupta, also completed his MBA in the year 2015 in a reputed Business School and Joined a New Tech Start-Up in Bangalore called “Goodbox” as Head Activations for all over India, He served for two successful years. Later in the year 2017 joined his father’s business to capture the entire Market without any hindrances in the existing system interference and is taking an active part in various activities of the Rice Mill and producing the best quality rice in Bangalore.

Our Origin

Sree Kedharalakshmi Agro Foods was established in the year 1982 in the Raichur district (Karnataka). The entire plant is spread over 5 acres of land. It was the first modern rice mill in the entire district. It was the Pioneer in Sona Masoori Raw Rice which was marketed especially to Karnataka. It also specialized in Double Raw Rice which was marketed mainly in Bengaluru state and produced the best quality rice in Bangalore. In the year 2005, a new Indus Dryer & FBC Boiler was installed, and new Milltec Whiteners and Polishers were also installed. 

In 2006, Devon Sortex S6, a color sorter exclusively designed for rice was installed, making us the first Rice Mill in Karnataka to go with this superior technology of color sorting. History Sree Kedharalakshmi Agro Foods was started under the table leadership of the Late Sri Ambati Gurubheemaiah Gupta who is said to be the pioneer of Rice mills in all of the surrounding districts of Raichur.

He was in the field of the Rice Industry since the early 1970s and was considered to be one of the most experienced and dynamic industrialists of that era by producing the best quality rice in Bangalore. His sons, Sri Ambati Venkatraj Gupta & Sri Ambati Saibaba Gupta were the main force behind the starting of  Sree Kedharalakshmi Agro Foods Rice Mill in 1982. In those periods, they were the two people who dared to set up big industries and worked hard with discipline and dedication to setting up the industry.

In the year 2007, after an extensive survey, a 4-5 TPH fully automated Milltech Plant, along with Sortex, 24 Tons Indus & SKF’s Stainless Steel Double Dryer was installed. Mr. Ambati Raghavendra Gupta (present Managing Partner), the youngest son of Sri Ambati Venkatraj Gupta, completed his B.Tech and joined Sree Kedharalakshmi Agro Foods in 2013 and worked along with his father & Uncle in various activities of the rice mill.

 In the year 2014 Mr. Ambati Nagarjuna Gupta (Present Managing Partner in Sree Maatha Agro Tech), Completed his MBA and joined the business to take the business to the next level. Later in the year 2015, a new Rice mill with a 4-5 TPH fully automated Milltech Plant, along with Sortex was started to match up with the current demand in the market for Ambati Rice. The rice mill was named Sree Maatha Agro Tech.


Our Unique Factor

N19 food is considered the king of the sonamansoori category and one of the producers of the best quality rice in Bangalore. Our process and consistent quality have served this title for a long time. The USP is we have a fixed set of farmers and we work with them closely in cultivating harvesting to processing. We are very fond of our culture which is why our rice production is done traditionally. We dry the Paddy in the natural sun to get the natural nutrition into it. We also follow very strict rules in the process that we have been following for the past 43 years.
